« Mutante » : La musique expérimentale s’exporte !
Following a successful performance at the Philharmonie de Luxembourg in April of this year, the musicians of the United Instruments of Lucilin ensemble were invited to present « Mutante » by Fernando Garnero on Saturday, December 2nd, at the Inter Arts Center in Malmö, Sweden. In this hybrid piece, electronic music and acoustic instruments come together to offer audiences new sounds.
In the diverse landscape of contemporary music, Fernando Garnero stands out for his exploration of electronic music, thereby expanding the possibilities of acoustic instruments. A doctoral student at the University of Sweden and a former resident of the Villa Medici in Rome, Fernando Garnero has collaborated multiple times with the United Instruments of Lucilin ensemble. The creation of « Mutante » by the ensemble thus attests to a longstanding relationship and a shared interest in experimental music.
