Horizon Brisé
Horizon Brisé
After its premiere as part of Musique Plus in 2025, Horizon Brisé returns to the Valentiny Foundation in a reimagined setting with a new creation. “Horizon Brisé” evokes a break in the continuity of expectations. The title suggests an altered vision of the natural cycle of the seasons, where each stage is deconstructed to reveal an unexpected essence, fragmented and reinterpreted. The horizon, often a symbol of constancy and stability, becomes here a space where order is disrupted.

Motion Picture Business
A concert built around a new composition by composer Pascal Schumacher, commissioned by the Ministère de la Culture and Lucilin, and combining contemporary chamber music with spoken text by Luxembourgish writer Florence Sunnen. The programme explores the dreaming mind as an internal cinema—editing, projecting, and reshaping reality and the uneasy return to daylight—through a focused sound world of strings,
winds and percussion.

A Practice of Listening
A Practice of Listening
Daniel Serafini and United Instruments of Lucilin invite you to a lecture concert dedicated to Deep Listening. Discover the ideas and philosophy of Pauline Oliveros and the work of collaborators such as Stuart Dempster, Panaiotis, Heloise Gold and IONE.
The afternoon places Deep Listening within a wider lineage of meditative music by figures like John Cage and La Monte Young, exploring how new listening practices emerged.
Through simple listening exercises and a final collaborative piece, you are invited to actively participate and help shape the music live at the Valentiny Foundation .
