La Ville en Bocal
A look back at an experience that turned the city itself into the main character.
With La Ville en Bocal, everyday life becomes a visual and sonic experience, where every movement, every sound and every detail of the street takes on a new dimension.
For this unique performance, the audience took their seats inside the Aquarium, the large glass-fronted gallery of Casino Luxembourg, transformed for the occasion into a unique observation point overlooking the city. On the other side of the glass, the street, its passers-by and its unexpected moments became the protagonists of a live performance.
Conceived and composed by Anne-Laure Pigache and Anne-Julie Rollet, with writing support from Alexandre Théry, this creation by Les Harmoniques du Néon invited the musicians of United Instruments of Lucilin to engage in a dialogue with the sounds, movements and everyday happenings of public space.
Between instrumental music and urban soundscape, between inside and outside, an unexpected encounter inviting us to see what we hear… and listen to what we see.
A creation by Les Harmoniques du Néon, featuring United Instruments of Lucilin, presented at Casino Luxembourg as part of FORA.
