Spooky Improvisation – reporté au 12 mars 2021
On this Friday, the 13th, Sascha Ley and United Instruments of Lucilin (Guy Frisch, Frin Wolter und André Pons-Valdès), will bring some of the earliest silent scary movies to life thanks to their musical improvisation. Part of Luxembourg City Tourist Office’s free midday concert series, this special edition of the event will bring together musical talent and ghostly pioneering film footage from the early 20th century, including Segundo de Chomón’s The House of Ghosts (1907), Buster Keaton’s and Edward F. Cline’s The Haunted House (1921) and Scott Pembroke’s and Joe Rock’s Dr. Pryckle and Mr. Pryde (1925). Prepare yourselves for a spooky lunch break with guaranteed goose bumps at the Cinémathèque de la Ville de Luxembourg!
