Series XX-XXI / Generations

In February, United Instruments of Lucilin will travel back to Spain for two concerts, first in Madrid on February 10th as part of the Series for Contemporary Music XX-XXI, and the next day in Badajoz for the Ciclo Música Actual .
The ensemble will present an ambitious program, with pieces from different periods and genres – from Helmut Lachenmann, key figure of “Klang Komposition” to visionary Fausto Romitelli, and the young generation with two new creations by Clara Olivares (1993) and José Luis Valdivia Arias (1994). The program also includes a Spanish premiere with “Zenit”, a piece by Luxembourgish composer Claude Lenners.
