Once again, the United Instruments of Lucilin brilliantly goes beyond the boundaries of the classical repertoire, exploring here the possible symbioses between music and new technologies. 

United Instruments of Lucilin has become a key player in the creation and dissemination of contemporary music in Luxembourg, and has come up with an innovative and daring concert – a little futuristic – in two parts.

Composer Roby Steinmetzer will present his creation Your Face is a Book. Thanks to an ingenious algorithm, the score played by the musicians will evolve “live” according to the emotions and reactions – conscious or unconscious – of an audience filmed throughout. Yes, you’ve got it right: smile (or not), you are being filmed!

Finally, SmartFaust technology will allow you to integrate the Lucilin set… from your seat! By means of an application that you can download on site, your mobile phone will be transformed, for the duration of the evening, into an instrument that will lend a hand to the seasoned artists on stage. The result? A virtuoso work, a source of real symbiosis between stage and hall, between electronic and acoustic sounds.
