To launch its new season, United Instruments of Lucilin takes over LUCA for an evening inviting audiences to discover contemporary music in all its forms.

Bringing together several experiences that marked this summer’s Musique + Festival, the concert revisits them to create a new journey and set the tone for the season ahead.

Programme:

  • a 30-minute musical journey accompanied by a wine tasting, featuring three works by Catherine Kontz and Elisabeth Schilling, Ivan Boumans and Núria Bonet
  • an excerpt from the Centre Henri Pousseur Carte Blanche, featuring works by Martin Matalon and Héloïse Bégin
  • a moment of deep listening, taking the time to experience listening differently.

Throughout this musical journey, Christophe Mirkes from Opus 100,7, partner of the event, will meet and talk with the artists.

These conversations offer a way into the works, revealing what lies behind their creation and bringing the stage and audience a little closer together.

Ouverture + thus sets the first movement of the 2026/2027 season: a programme shaped by music, of course, but also by encounters, curiosity and experiences that go beyond the traditional concert format.
