Minimal Music
Lucilin in association with the Orchestre de Chambre du Luxembourg (OCL) propose a concert around minimal music.
For this 1st collaboration the program is both demanding and accessible, by gathering famous names of minimal music – Philip Glass, John Adams, Louis Andriessen, Steve Reich – that movement born in the 60s which uses repetition as composition method.
That music is first of all characterized by regular beats and gets its inspiration in different spheres, such as Steve Reich’s new composition, Radio Rewrite, inspired by Radiohead songs.
