Michel Reis Trio feat. United Instruments of Lucilin

Following a long-standing desire to create a common project, pianist and composer Michel Reis has joined forces with the United Instruments of Lucilin to present a new composition for ensemble and jazz trio during the Like a Jazz Machine Festival.
Composed especially for Lucilin, this new piece, conceived as a suite, oscillates between written music and improvisation. To complete the jazz formation, Michel Reis called upon two renowned musicians: the drummer Jonas Burgwinkel and the bassist Robert Landfermann.
After several residency sessions at the Opderschmelz, all of them will meet on stage on May 13 for an evening full of musical colors, at the borders of contemporary music and jazz.
