Michel Reis trio feat. United Instruments of Lucilin

Following a long-standing desire to create a joint project, pianist and composer Michel Reis teamed up with United Instruments of Lucilin in May 2023 to present an original composition for ensemble and jazz trio as part of the Like a Jazz Machine Festival in Opderschmelz. To complete the jazz line-up, Michel Reis called on two renowned musicians: drummer Jonas Burgwinkel and bassist Robert Landfermann.

In 2024 the project will be back on stage, this time at the Trifolion in Echternach on 24 May. Composed especially for Lucilin, the piece, conceived as a suite, oscillates between written music and improvisation, an evening full of musical colors, at the borders of contemporary music and jazz.
