With Mathémusiques, contemporary music ensemble United Instruments of Lucilin invites you to discover the playful and surprising world of Franco-American composer Tom Johnson (1939–2024), whose music transforms numbers, rules and mathematical structures into sonic adventures.

Guided by Samuel Vriezen, music theorist and musician, audiences of all ages will explore one big question: how much music can there be?

From counting cows and playing with boxes to getting swept away by a tango, embark on a musical journey full of surprises, where logic becomes play and mathematics turns into music. An experience for the whole family to enjoy!
