Lucilin in the City #10 – Miniature

For the last “Lucilin in the City” concert of 2023, Pascal Meyer, pianist of the ensemble, is thinking “small”. Accompanied by percussionist Guy Frisch, they have come up with a “Miniature” program in which toy piano, glockenspiel, triangle and other small instruments think big. The program includes a selection of solo and duo pieces putting these instruments into the spotlight, including Christopher Adler’s The Toy Robot’s Mechanical Heart and Alvin Lucier’s iconic solo for triangle Silver Streetcar for the Orchestra, presented on December 17 at 5pm at Galerie Nosbaum Reding.

With Lucilin in the City, Lucilin proposes a monthly programme curated by a member closed to the ensemble, thus highlighting the musical personalities that make up Lucilin and, more generally, the extent and great diversity of the contemporary music repertoire.
