Live-Cinema: “Die Frau nach der man sich sehnt”

This splendid live-cinéma project presents the music of 1929 silent movie Die Frau, nach der man sich sehnt (L’Enigme), composed by Pascal Schumacher and live interpreted by Lucilin (14 musicians).

Since it was created, this project has already been performed several times and each time it was particularly successful among the public. Others performances:

This time, the project comes to BOZAR in Brussels on September 29th at 20h.

In this melodrama directed by Kurt Bernhardt and based on the novel by Max Brod, the beautiful yet mysterious Stascha (Marlène Dietrich), crosses paths with Henri Leblanc while he is on his way to his honeymoon. The latter, married to a wealthy heiress, leaves her to meet up Stascha. The young lady is ready to leave with him but Karoff, the obscure man she is with, does not intend to let her go.

A young groom falls in love with a mysterious woman. A german melodrama full of charm, with Marlene Dietrich very impressive as a femme fatale. (www.arte.tv)
