Kaul & Kids at Kufa!

Based on the project Töne töner tönern commissioned by Lucilin in 2009 to German composer and percussionist Matthias Kaul and renamed in 2011 Symphonie pour vuvuzelas, verres à pieds et pots de fleurs, this educational project which has already met a great success will be organized once more at Kulturfabrik in March 2016.

From March 14 to March 18, two classes from a primary school in France (10-11 years old) will learn in one week how to play this composition for quirky instruments with Guy Frisch and Sylvie Brücker to present their work during a final concert at Kufa on March 18th. Flowerpots, vuvuzelas and wine glasses will be transformed by Matthias Kaul and the pupils into musical instruments, an original way to discover and play music and to spend an unforgettable evening!
