Festival Densités 29#

For its first appearance at the Densités festival, the ensemble offers a suspended musical afternoon with the magnetic trio Crippled Symmetry (1983) by Morton Feldman (USA – 1926/1987). The colours of the flute (and bass flute), piano (and celesta) and vibraphone (and glockenspiel) create the sonic universe of this 90-minute piece in which symmetrical and then subtly asymmetrical (‘crippled’) motifs follow one another.
