Elisabeth Schilling: Ita Infinita

Ita Infinita is based on Johann Sebastian Bach’s Partita for violin No. 1 in B minor, and is a choreographic work for three dancers by Elisabeth Schilling, accompanied live by Lucilin. This 25-minute production combines dance, music and design in a transmedia creative process, offering a contemporary perspective on this extremely well-known composition.
Inspired by the exuberant clothing and ornamentation of the Baroque period, they create a visual atmosphere that generates another aesthetic level interwoven with dance and music.
