CD Release – The Raven

LUCILIN will be in Japan from the 1st to the 4th of October on the occasion of the CD release of The Raven by Naxos. Organized in partnership with the Luxembourgish Embassy in Japan and Naxos-Japan, this journey includes a press conference, interviews and a concert at the Luxembourgish Embassy.

The Raven was commissioned by Lucilin to Japanese composer Toshio Hosokawa. Based on the eponymous poem by Edgar Allan Poe, this monodrama for mezzo-soprano (Charlotte Hellekant) and ensemble (12 musicians) has been performed for the first time in concertant version in Brussels during the Ars Musica festival on March 17th 2012.
