Albena Petrovic: The Dark

On October 15, United Instruments of Lucilin will return to Italy, this time with soprano Donatienne Michel-Dansac, to present the Italian premiere of The Dark, an instrumental opera composed by Luxembourgish composer Albena Petrovic-Vratchanska and inspired by the myth of Orphée and Eurydice.

This opera has already been presented several times, in the Casemates du Bock (Luxembourg) in June 2016, then as part of the DAM Festival in a former printhouse in Pristina (Kosovo), in Sofia (Bulgarie) upon invitation of the Concordia Festival in 2017 and in 2019 in Tortosa (Spain). Every time the audience was very enthusiastic about the project!
