Sensorial Symphonies

Following its premiere at the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg, Sensorial Symphonies continues its journey with a new performance at CAPE Ettelbruck. In this work, choreographer Elisabeth Schilling explores our relationship with the plant world through a creation where dance, music, sound, scenography and sensory experience come together.

The piece draws on the intensity of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, deconstructed and reimagined through original compositions by Pascal Schumacher and enriched by The Plant Philharmonic, a collection of sounds from the plant world.

On stage, five dancers move through this sensory environment, accompanied live by Galdric Subirana of United Instruments of Lucilin.

A choreographic work that invites audiences to see, hear and feel the complexity of the living world, while offering a new perspective on our relationship with the environment.
