Lucilin: Now! – Immersion

Immersion
Meditative and experimental music, composer Yang Song incorporates elements of traditional Mongolian music to create a unique experience for you.

Three works, three soundscapes, one fully immersive experience.
On June 4 at the Philharmonie Luxembourg, United Instruments of Lucilin presents « Immersion », bringing together three contemporary pieces that explore various forms of immersive listening and interaction between acoustic instruments and electronic devices.
Peter Adriaansz’s Waves 11–13 offers a slow study of micro-intervals and harmonic interference. In irrelevant noise, Chris Swithinbank explores the tension between instrumental sounds and electronic noise, set against a critical backdrop inspired by British legislation. Finally, Yang Song presents Die Tiefe Ferne, a new work combining instrumental ensemble, Mongolian diphonic singing, ambisonic spatialization, and video.
A program focused on attentive listening and the relationship between sound, space, and culture.
