Lucilin in the City #19 – Mathémusiques

The musical magic of numbers

United Instruments of Lucilin invites you to a new edition of Lucilin in the City, a series of independent concerts designed as creative spaces to explore and bring today’s music to life in different locations around the city.

For Lucilin in the City #19 – Mathémusiques, the ensemble adds up the ideas of Tom Johnson (1939–2024), a French/American minimalist composer whose music, grounded in mathematical structures, combines formal rigor, playful clarity, and didactic poetry. An invitation to follow the logic of sound and gradually discover the beauty of numbers and abstraction.
