Call for artistic adviser/curator

Founded in 1999 by a group of passionate and committed musicians, United instruments of Lucilin presents, in about 40 concerts a year, a broad scope of musical events, ranging from “traditional” concerts to music theatre productions, children projects (and) improvisation sessions. Embarking for a new chapter in the artistic and organisational development, we are now looking for an experienced artistic adviser/curator (freelance).

Job description

Transversal function: artistic consultant on request and design of at least 2 tailor-made projects.

Artistic consultancy (programmes, additional pieces, view on precise activities or projects…) and exclusive project curating in dialogue with the directors and the musicians of the Ensemble.

Conditions
*Freelance – 30-months mission (or to be discussed)
*6 hours/week (on average)
*Remote work possible. Minimum 25% office attendance required
*Function split 75% artistic consultancy / 25% curating
*Reporting to the General and Strategic Directors, and in dialogue with the Musicians’ Committee
*Salary according to expectations and experience

Profil
*experienced
*artist or musicologist (extensive knowledge of new music and multidisciplinary fields)
*open-minded – non-exclusive aesthetic
*knowledge of contemporary scene – repertoire and network of festivals/venues/opportunities
